QA Engineer

Responsibilities: 

1. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. 

2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. 

3. Design, develop and execute automation testing scripts and integrate them in our CI/CD pipelines.dx 

4. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. 

5. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs, including monitoring effectiveness of fixes. 

6. Develop and Track quality assurance metrics. 

7. Conduct research and development for the company’s products. 

8. Work with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts to analyse requirements, develop ideas and design solutions. 

9. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. 

10. Stay up to date with new testing methods and tools. 

Requirements: 

1. Interest in digital trading platforms and enterprise solutions. 

2. Proven work experience in software development 

3. Proven work experience in software quality assurance 

4. Strong knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, JavaScript, Go, C#, Java, Swift, Kotlin, C/C++. 

5. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting 

6. Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes including experience to use Git and/or Github. 

7. Strong knowledge on execution of unit testing and code reviews. 

8. A strong understanding of in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, web applications, databases, networking, cloud infrastructure. 

9. Strong knowledge on automated code testing tools such as Selenium, Sonarqube, etc. 

10. A passion for computer programming and a deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly. 

11. Strong communication skills to advocate your ideas in a clear and concise manner to the team. 

12. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process 

13. Experience with performance and/or security testing especially in ISO27001 environment is a plus 

14. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
